Network Security Engineer

Job Description:

What you will be doing:

  • Manage and support enterprise network security infrastructure, including:
    • Palo Alto Firewalls
    • GlobalProtect VPN
    • F5 Load Balancers (LTM & GTM)
    • UltraDNS
    • ClearPass solutions
    • EIP solutions
  • Handle incident, problem, and change management activities in accordance with ITIL processes.
  • Troubleshoot end-user connectivity and remote access issues related to GlobalProtect VPN.
  • Administer and troubleshoot F5 Load Balancers, including virtual servers, pools, monitors, SSL certificates, traffic management, and GTM/LTM configurations.
  • Manage and support DNS/DDI services, including DNS configuration, troubleshooting, zone management, DNS traffic optimization, and availability management.
  • Diagnose complex network and security issues related to Routing, Policy, VPN and DNS across WAN, LAN, and Internet-facing environments.
  • Lead end-to-end security project, including planning, design, implementation,

migration, testing, and operational handover for Palo Alto, F5, DNS/DDI, and related technologies.

  • Perform packet capture analysis using Wireshark and other network diagnostic tools.
  • Troubleshoot routing and connectivity issues related to BGP and OSPF

What we are looking for:

  • Expert knowledge of Palo Alto Firewalls, GlobalProtect VPN, F5 Load Balancer (LTM/GTM) operations and administration, UltraDNS/DDI, ClearPass, and EIP solutions.
  • Strong experience in firewall operations, NAT, security policy management, threat prevention, URL filtering, and vulnerability management.
  • Hands-on experience in F5 LTM/GTM configuration, troubleshooting, maintenance, and operational support.
  • Expert understanding of BGP, TCP/IP, MPLS, WAN/LAN networking, and DNS/DDI administration and troubleshooting.
  • Proficiency in Wireshark packet capture and network traffic analysis.
  • Good understanding of Incident, Change.
