Core stack: Cisco networking (Catalyst 9300/9500, Nexus 9000, C8300, 9800 WLC) with Palo Alto and Fortinet firewalls and OSPF/BGP routing.
Job Summary
We are looking for a Network & Security Engineer to work on a dedicated basis with one of our outsourcing
partner's enterprise clients. The role involves managing and maintaining the Client's network and security
infrastructure, ensuring the stability, performance, and security of daily network operations remotely.
Required Skills
Technical Skills
• Strong experience with Cisco networking technologies (Catalyst 9300/9500, Nexus 9000, C8300 Routers).
• Hands-on experience managing Palo Alto and Fortinet firewalls.
• Solid understanding of LAN, WAN, MPLS, VPN, TCP/IP, VLANs, STP, OSPF, BGP, and routing protocols.
• Experience administering Cisco Wireless Controllers (9800 WLC) and Access Points.
• Experience with Cisco Catalyst Center or similar network monitoring solutions.
• Knowledge of network security best practices and firewall policy management.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex network connectivity and performance issues.
• Experience with high availability (HA), redundancy, and disaster recovery concepts.
• Familiarity with enterprise monitoring and logging tools.
Soft Skills
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills (Arabic and English).
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Strong vendor management and coordination skills.
• Customer-focused with excellent problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to balance Client requirements with the outsourcing company's internal processes.
Requirements
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 4–5 years of enterprise networking experience.
• CCNP Enterprise certification preferred.
• Palo Alto PCNSA/PCNSE or Fortinet NSE certification is an advantage.
Additional Notes – Outsourcing Model
• Availability to work on a shift basis may be required depending on the Client's operational needs.
• Signing a Client-specific Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) is required in addition to the contract with the
outsourcing company.
• Performance is evaluated jointly and periodically by both the outsourcing company and the Client
