Network Security Engineer (Global Deep Tech)
About the Company
A cybersecurity solutions and services business within a large international group, serving Defence, Aviation, Government and critical infrastructure clients across the region. It is scaling its regional presence and hiring a Network Security Engineer to lead delivery of network security solutions.
Role & Responsibilities
You will own end-to-end delivery of a network security work package within a large programme, accountable for scope, schedule, cost, quality and customer acceptance. This is a hands-on delivery leadership role, reporting into the global integrations team.
Own the work package from planning through customer acceptance
Lead multidisciplinary engineering, test and deployment teams alongside third-party suppliers
Translate contract requirements into technical tasks and integrate network security and monitoring components into the wider architecture
Drive verification, validation and penetration testing, producing the evidence for customer sign-off
Manage secure deployment, cutover and handover into live operational environments
Act as primary customer contact on delivery, managing risks, scope changes and compliance with ISO 27001, IEC 62443, IM8, CCoP and NIST
Requirements
Min 5 years in cybersecurity or network security engineering
Delivery experience with Government, Defence or CII customers
Subject matter expertise in a cybersecurity domain or vendor, with hands-on COTS security product deployment
Strong network security foundations (firewalls, IDS/IPS, segmentation) and working knowledge of ISO 27001, IM8, CCoP, IEC 62443 and NIST CSF
Relevant degree or CISSP/CISM/Security+/CCNA, plus a project management certification (PMP, Prince2 or APM)
Bonus Points: CISSP-ISSAP or ISSEP; personal projects or homelabs
