Network Security Engineer in Singapore who designs and maintains LAN/WAN, wireless and network infrastructure, manages routers, switches, firewalls and load balancers, and implements network security such as firewalls, VPNs and access controls. Requires 2 years of relevant experience and hands-on skills with Cisco, Juniper or Arista.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, configure and maintain LAN, WAN, wireless and network infrastructure.
- Install and manage routers, switches, firewalls and load balancers.
- Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues and ensure availability.
- Implement network security, including firewalls, VPNs and access controls.
- Perform network upgrades, patching, maintenance and security configurations.
- Work with internal teams and vendors to resolve network incidents.
- Maintain network documentation and support disaster recovery activities
- Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by supervisor
Requirements
- 2 years of experience in Network Support, Network Engineer, Infrastructure Engineer, System Administration or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing and switching.
- Hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper or Arista.
- Knowledge of network security, firewalls, VPN and IDS/IPS.
