Non-Ferrous Manager

About the Opportunity
As a Facility Manager at EMR, you’ll support our NEW non-ferrous warehouse facility and help grow our operations. You’ll lead a dedicated team and represent EMR to local customers. You'll also oversee safety, material processing, inventory, and shipping to ensure daily operations run efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily non-ferrous yard operations, including receiving, processing, inventory management and shipping materials
Lead, train, and support yard staff to maintain safe, productive and efficient operations
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers through reliable service, accurate pricing, and material quality
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental and quality standards

Qualifications

Management/supervisory experience of daily operations
Hands-on experience operating equipment and machinery
Experience leading a team and committed to developing employees
Ability to learn our proprietary software

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in the recycling or demolition industry
Knowledge of scrap metal commodities
Microsoft excel skills

Compensation and Benefits

$75,000+ Salary
Monday-Friday, full-time, year-round
