Nurse Intern Ortho

• Location: Racine, WI
• Facility: Ascension All Saints Hospital
• Department: Orthopedics Med Surg Unit
• Schedule: PRN

• Deliver essential, high-quality direct patient care, assisting with personal needs and activities of daily living to promote patient comfort, dignity, and independence.
• Document the patient care journey, accurately recording vital signs, input/output, and interventions to maintain high-quality, legally compliant records that support the multidisciplinary team.
• Communicate critical changes in a patient’s physical or emotional status to the nursing staff immediately to ensure timely, informed clinical intervention and patient safety.
• Support patient safety and mobility by skillfully assisting with patient movement, placement, and transport for various exams and treatments.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly patient environment, ensuring supplies are stocked and all essential medical equipment is in immediate readiness for use.

Licensure/Certification/Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education:

• High school diploma/GED required.
• Must be accepted or enrolled into a Nursing program upon date of hire/transfer and begin classes within 90 days of date of hire/transfer required.
