Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant provides high quality patient care in support of Occupational Medical Services at the Hanford environmental restoration site in Richland, Washington.

Duties/Responsibilities:

The Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant is responsible the following duties:

· Perform physical exams.

· Diagnose and treat acute occupational injury and illnesses

· Prescribe all necessary medications and treatments related to occupational injury/illness and triage emergencies.

· Perform comprehensive physical examinations of patients.

· Develop and implement patient management policies and procedures.

· Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities.

· Communicate with collaborating physician or specialist regarding patient care.
