Opportunity Details:

  • Provide direct inpatient obstetric care, including management of labor, deliveries, and postpartum care.
  • Manage obstetric triage evaluations and admissions.
  • Perform vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, and also obstetric procedures, as needed.
  • Respond to obstetric emergencies, such as postpartum hemorrhage, shoulder dystocia, eclampsia, and maternal-fetal resuscitation.
  • Collaborate with maternal-fetal medicine specialists, anesthesiologists, neonatologists, and nursing staff to ensure optimal patient care.
  • Promote a culture of safety through open communication and debriefing with multidisciplinary team members.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
  • Flexible schedules available that include a combination of shift options.
  • Serves as a clinical resource and mentor for trainees including residents, students, and nursing staff.
