Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding an Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon to the group at NYC Health + Hospitals/Kings County. Opportunity Details:
- Provide inpatient and outpatient surgical and non-surgical care for orthopedic trauma patients.
- Perform surgery on complex orthopedic trauma cases, including pelvic fractures, long bone fractures, and intra-articular fractures, and upper and lower extremity trauma.
- Participate in the orthopedic surgery emergency call schedule.
- Participate in multidisciplinary trauma activities, including trauma meetings, quality initiatives, data collection, and compliance efforts.
- Conduct critical review of orthopedic consultations from the Emergency Department and inpatient units.
- Serve as the orthopedic representative on multidisciplinary trauma committees, as needed.
- Lead and mentor orthopedic surgery residents, medical students, physician assistants, and other clinical learners.
- Participate in departmental administrative and quality improvement initiatives, as required.
