OFA3 Security Guard
Job Summary
Karas Security is seeking a reliable and professional Part-Time OFA Level 3 Security Guard to support site operations. This role requires strong attention to safety, the ability to respond to incidents, and accurate documentation in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Patrol and monitor assigned sites
- Ensure safety of people, property, and assets
- Control site access and maintain visitor/vehicle logs
- Conduct CCTV monitoring
- Respond to incidents and emergencies
- Provide first aid when required (OFA 3 level)
- Complete detailed incident and daily reports accurately and on time
- Secure site equipment and support site-specific needs
Requirements
- Valid OFA Level 3 Certification
- Valid BC Security Worker License (BST)
- Part-time availability with flexibility to work rotating schedules (days, evenings, weekends as required)
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift 15 lbs+
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- Ability to write clear, accurate incident reports
- Ability to work independently and handle high-pressure situations
Compensation & Benefits
- $21.00 per hour
- Extended health and dental benefits (as per company eligibility)
