Liquid Cooling – Product Offering Manager (Asia)
Position Summary/Objectives of Incumbent:
A Liquid Cooling – Product Offering Manager is responsible for the end-to-end lifecycke, strategic direction and commercial success of Liquid Cooling products within Data Center environments. They bridge the gap between technical engineering teams and market needs, focusing on high-density cooling solutions like CoolChip.
Responsibilities:
- Product Strategy and Roadmap Development: Define and maintain the long-term roadmap for CDU products, aligning them with market trends in AI, high-performance computing (HPC), and sustainability goals.
- Market Analysis and "Voice of Customer" (VoC): Conduct competitor analysis and gather customer feedback to identify requirements for new features or products, ensuring the offering meets specific industry needs.
- Product Lifecycle Management: Manage the entire product lifecycle from conceptualization and development to launch and eventual phase-out, ensuring profitability and market relevance.
- Business Case and Financial Ownership: Develop business cases for new products, set pricing strategies, and manage product line profitability, including volume forecasts and margin analysis.
- Technical Product Positioning: Act as the subject matter expert (SME) on CDU technology, providing technical insights to cross-functional teams and translating complex technical features into clear value propositions for marketing and sales collateral.
- Cross-functional Leadership: Collaborate with engineering, R&D, manufacturing, quality, and sales teams to ensure successful product development and on-time delivery.
- Sales Enablement and Support: Create sales tools, presentations, competitive comparisons, and white papers. Provide SME (Subject Matter Expert) training program and act as a technical escalation point for complex client opportunities.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure products comply with industry standards and safety regulations

Education/Qualification:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Thermal preferred) or Business
- 5–10+ years of experience in product management, with a strong preference for background in data center cooling, HVAC, or liquid cooling technologies.
- Strong technical understanding of liquid-to-liquid and liquid-to-air cooling systems, fluid dynamics, and heat exchangers.
- Experience with New Product Development (NPD) processes.
Specialist Knowledge:
Deep understanding of:
- Loop Management: Separation of facility water loops (FWS) from technology cooling loops (TCS).
- Coolant Quality: Filtration requirements and water chemistry management to protect server components.
- Control Systems: Precision regulation of flow, pressure, and temperature to prevent condensation and overheating
Practical Experience:
- Proven track record of taking complex hardware products from concept to market launch
- Experience developing multi-year product roadmaps and data-driven business cases that align with market shifts like AI-driven rack densities
- Hands-on experience or deep technical familiarity with Liquid Cooling CDUs, and secondary loop (TCS) management

- Confidence to commit to a roadmap or pricing strategy even market standards are evolving.
- Persuasive communication skills, “translator” between deep-level engineering and commercial decision making.
