OFMF Material Handler

Job Summary:

Open/Mullion Frames (OF/MF) specializes in the construction of OF/MF doors, as well as five-piece drawer fronts. These doors are assembled using precision-cut components to create sturdy, visually appealing designs with a focus on accurate assembly and proper alignment of mullions or open-frame features. OF/MF plays a crucial role in delivering unique door styles that enhance the functionality and aesthetic appeal of our cabinets.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Pull, prepare, and organize materials and components required for the assembly of OF/MF doors and five-piece drawer fronts.
• Operate and monitor assembly equipment, making adjustments as needed to maintain precision and alignment.
• Assemble component by gluing, clamping, and pressing components to create complete door structures according to design specifications.
• Expedite completed components as needed to meet urgent production demands and fulfill time-sensitive orders.
• Inspect materials and finished products for quality, identifying and addressing defects to ensure compliance with production standards.
• Record production data, including completed units and material usage, to support inventory management and production tracking.
• Follow safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures, to ensure safe handling of equipment and materials.
• Maintain a clean, organized work environment by following proper clean-up and material storage procedures.
• Support company values and continuous improvement efforts by performing additional tasks as assigned by management.
