About Affluent Software Innovations
Affluent Software Innovations Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced IT OIP Business Analyst to support data, integration, and operational information platform requirements within a regulated manufacturing environment.
The role will involve close collaboration with business, manufacturing, IT, data, automation, and implementation teams to define requirements and support integrations involving platforms such as HighByte, HiveMQ, Cognite, AVEVA PI, and InfluxDB 3.
Key Responsibilities
· Engage with business and technology stakeholders to understand operational data and integration requirements.
· Develop end-to-end data-flow documentation for OIP integrations.
· Lead and support the development of User Requirements Specifications (URS).
· Facilitate and co-lead requirement-gathering, data-flow, architecture, and integration workshops.
· Identify functional and technical requirements and translate them into clear design inputs.
· Prepare and maintain the Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM).
· Participatein integration architecture and technical-design discussions.
· Contribute to risk and impact assessments.
· Support the development and review of functional specifications.
· Provide Business Analyst input and support for design specifications.
· Contribute to the Data Governance Plan and related data-management activities.
· Lead the preparation of end-to-end UAT scenarios, test scripts, and test data with business stakeholders.
· Track and resolve open actions relating to Business Analyst deliverables.
· Contribute to project-phase deliverables, including PIA, BIA, TIA, RID, fit-gap assessments, and related documentation.
· Ensure traceability between business requirements, system design, integrations, testing, validation, and implementation.
· Coordinate with internal technology teams, platform specialists, implementation partners, and third-party vendors.
· Assess solution proposals for technical alignment, business readiness, value, and implementation feasibility.
Qualifications & Experience
· Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Data Systems, or a related discipline.
· 3–5 years of Business Analysis experience supporting technology or data-integration initiatives.
· Strong implementation experience involving operational-data or integration platforms.
· Experience with one or more of the following technologies:
o HighByte
o HiveMQ
o Cognite
o AVEVA PI
o InfluxDB 3
· Experience documenting data flows, integrations, URS, RTMs, functional specifications, and UAT deliverables.
· Strong understanding of requirements management, traceability, testing, and validation.
· Experience working within a regulated environment.
· Experience working with implementation partners and third-party vendors.
· Strong stakeholder engagement, facilitation, presentation, and communication skills.
· Abilityto independently manage deliverables, risks, assumptions, constraints, and dependencies.
Preferred Experience
· Formal Business Analysis certification.
· Exposure to Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies.
· Experience working within a global organization.
· Experience in pharmaceutical, life sciences, manufacturing, or other regulated industries.
· Understanding of industrial data architecture, historian platforms, MQTT-based integration, and data-governance principles.

The ideal candidate will be a strong Business Analyst with hands-on experience in data integration and operational information platforms, capable of translating complex business and technical requirements into clear, traceable, and actionable deliverables.
The candidate should be comfortable working with multiple stakeholders, implementation partners, and technology teams in a regulated manufacturing environment, with strong documentation, facilitation, UAT, and requirements-management capabilities.
