POSITION SUMMARY
Once a trip has been allocated, this position will have the knowledge and capacity to manage and make decisions regarding on road challenges and issues, providing support to Travel Directors to deliver optimum customer service and delivery with close collaboration with our Travel Experience Managers and other Operations Teams.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Collaborates closely with Travel Experience [TE] Managers
Brochure Proofing
Receive Pre trip handover from TE Team as to trip component status upon allocation
Brief TD with any updates re any trip deviation to itinerary
Brief TD who are new or who have not conducted a specific itinerary before.
Debrief TD post trip
Point of contact and solution for all on road operational issues
Manages Book Outs or hotel changes with escalation as required to GM
Support required re any component gaps while on trip: i.e. hotels/restaurants
Reviewing and monitoring of overspend to manage ‘situations’ on trip
Sign off on additional sundries on trip
Amends to Technical Itineraries/Tropics individual trip level
Review of End of Trip Reports with feedback triaged as needed to various teams.
TD Meeting coordination and presentation
Be able to step in as a standby TD in emergency
Included in Out of Office Emergency Rota
Included in Crisis Management Team
