Operations Engineer (Node.js Backend + Integrations)

Compensation: $14k – $22k • No equity

We’re hiring a backend-focused Node.js engineer to help maintain and scale hundreds of active integration workflows that sync customer data across modern SaaS platforms.

This is not a frontend role — we’re looking for someone building real production systems in Node.js.

What You’ll Do

• Maintain and improve existing Node.js integration workflows
• Debug API-driven sync issues across SaaS platforms
• Implement client-requested workflow updates and enhancements
• Monitor reliability and performance of live integrations
• Work with messy data and build clean transformations

What We’re Looking For

• 4+ years of experience with JavaScript-heavy backend work in Node.js
• Strong experience with APIs, async systems, and web protocols
• Comfortable working in large existing codebases
• Fast learner, strong problem solver, takes ownership
• Fluent English + excellent communication

Bonus Points

• Frontend/design sensibility
• Experience with automation, monitoring, or ops-minded engineering
