Operations Manager
Job Summary
MacLean-Fogg is hiring an Operations Manager for its Saegertown, PA manufacturing operation. In this role, you will lead day-to-day manufacturing operations, develop people, strengthen safety and quality, and improve production efficiency, cost performance, and continuous improvement. You will coordinate production planning, staffing, cross-functional priorities, and supplier performance to help achieve operational and business goals.

Schedule: Standard business hours, variable schedule
Pay: $116,000 - $140,000 per year
Employment Type: Full-time / Salary
Travel: Up to 10%
What You'll Do as an Operations Manager
Lead day-to-day manufacturing operations and continuously improve processes to increase efficiency, reduce waste, control costs, shorten lead times, and improve productivity and product quality.
Develop and manage manufacturing plans and production schedules that balance customer demand with available capacity, adjusting schedules as demand, resources, or equipment performance change.
Manage staffing levels and labor resources to support production targets while maintaining safety and quality, and lead, mentor, and develop team members through clear communication and accountability.
Establish, monitor, and enforce quality control standards to help ensure products meet organizational and industry requirements.
Implement and maintain safety protocols and ensure adherence to applicable safety, environmental, quality, and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align production goals with business objectives, and monitor vendor performance against quality and delivery expectations.
Complete production reports, safety audits, compliance checks, and other required operational documentation fully and accurately.
Promote 5S principles and lead continuous improvement efforts across operational areas to maintain a clean, organized, efficient, and performance-focused manufacturing environment.
What You'll Bring
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree.
At least 6 years of relevant experience in manufacturing or operations, including demonstrated experience managing production teams and driving process improvements.
Experience with manufacturing systems, lean production methodologies, and operational efficiency initiatives.
