This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for STEM to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: Serves as a Operations Research Analyst for the Joint Activities located at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. Only resumes up to a total of two pages will be accepted.
Design mathematical and statistical models to conduct cost-benefit analyses.
Evaluate data sets utilizing economic analysis techniques to simulate process features.
Assess proposed policies and system capabilities to determine cost effectiveness and feasibility.
Formulate assumptions and measures of effectiveness to support resource acquisition decisions.
Present analytical findings to senior leadership to inform strategic decision-making.
Negotiate technical operations research solutions with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
Direct the work of subordinate personnel based on organizational priorities and assignment difficulty.
Appraise employee performance to provide developmental feedback and recommend awards.
