Summary
Analyzes and optimizes organizational processes, policies, and workflows for a U.S. military joint staff branch using data tools and AI platforms to support leadership decisions.
This position is part of the Organization of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. The incumbent will work directly for the Branch Chief, Operations and Plans Branch. The incumbent serves as a Management Analyst, recognized as a subject matter expert.
As a MANAGEMENT ANALYST at the GS-0343-12 some of your typical work assignments may include: Independently designs and conducts comprehensive reviews of the Deputy Directorate's organizational processes, training initiatives, and operational workflows Interprets, evaluates, and provides authoritative guidance on the impact of new or proposed policies affecting manpower programs, staffing levels, resource allocation, and organizational structure. Produces recurring and ad hoc reports to inform leadership decisions and proactively address evolving organizational requirements. Develops detailed analytical reports and presentations for senior leadership, summarizing findings from manpower and administrative reviews. Leverages advanced data analysis and collaboration tools, including Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, and AI platforms, to automate workflows, support data-driven decision-making, and enhance cross-division collaboration
