Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Operations Support Engineer to join a high-performing technology team in Singapore, focusing on IT operations, cloud infrastructure, monitoring, incident/change management, automation, and DevOps practices.
Responsibilities
- Support and optimize IT operations by applying proven experience as an Operations Engineer or IT Operations Engineer
- Implement Incident Management and Change Management workflows using ITSM tools such as AWS Quick, Zendesk, or ServiceDesk to ensure operational stability
- Manage security and access control by administering privileged access to test and production environments to maintain system integrity
- Perform hands-on full-stack monitoring of applications and infrastructure using APM tools to proactively identify and resolve issues
- Identify and implement process automation to minimize downtime and reduce human errors in IT operations
- Utilize automation and scripting tools such as Terraform and Ansible to streamline infrastructure management and deployment
- Apply Agile methodologies, DevOps pipelines, Test-Driven Development (TDD), and information security practices to enhance development and deployment processes
- Manage cloud infrastructure and services across AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or equivalent platforms to ensure reliable cloud operations
- Communicate complex technical issues clearly to non-technical teams to facilitate collaboration and problem resolution
- Demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills to address operational challenges effectively
Required competencies and certifications
- Any Bachelor’s degree or diploma, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field as foundational knowledge for the role
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Knowledge of cloud-native monitoring tools such as Amazon CloudWatch to enhance monitoring capabilities
- Experience with the AWS ecosystem to leverage platform-specific advantages
- Cloud certifications or experience with GPC/GCC environments to support cloud operations
- Exposure to AI application development, particularly Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), tool calling, workflow automation, and data lakes, to support innovative technology initiatives
