Oracle CC&B Application Tester

We are looking for an experienced Oracle Utilities Customer Care & Billing (CC&B) Tester with a strong understanding of utility business processes and application testing. The candidate should have experience in functional, integration, system, regression, and user acceptance testing of Oracle CC&B applications.

Key Responsibilities

1. Understand business requirements and functional specifications related to Oracle CC&B.
2. Prepare test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts for different CC&B functionalities.
3. Perform functional testing, integration testing, system testing, and regression testing.
4. Validate billing calculations, bill segments, rates, and payment transactions.
5. Execute SQL queries to validate backend database records and application data.
6. Identify, log, track, and retest defects using Jira or HP ALM.
7. Perform SIT (System Integration Testing) and UAT (User Acceptance Testing).
8. Coordinate with developers, business analysts, and functional teams to resolve defects.
9. Prepare test execution reports and provide regular testing status updates.
10. Support production releases, application upgrades, and regression testing.
