As an Oracle Data Modeler - Senior Associate, you will engage with clients to optimize their operational efficiency by analyzing their needs and implementing Oracle's suite of tools and technologies. This role involves data collection, cleansing, transformation, modeling, visualization, and analysis to derive actionable insights. As a Senior Associate, you will focus on building meaningful client connections and learning how to manage and inspire others. You will navigate increasingly complex situations, growing your personal brand and enhancing your technical skills. You are expected to anticipate the needs of your teams and clients, delivering quality solutions even when the path forward is not clear.

In this role at PwC Acceleration Center India, you will be part of our Business Application Consulting team within our Oracle practice. You will leverage Oracle tools like Oracle Database, Oracle Analytics Cloud, and Oracle Data Integrator to support clients in achieving their strategic objectives. This position offers the opportunity to deepen your understanding of business contexts and develop your skills in a dynamic and supportive environment. You will use a broad range of methodologies and techniques to generate new ideas and solve problems, contributing to the overall strategy and success of our clients.

Responsibilities

- Analyzing client needs to implement Oracle data solutions effectively
- Utilizing Oracle tools for data collection, cleansing, transformation, and modeling
- Developing data visualization and analysis using Oracle Analytics Cloud and Oracle Data Visualization
- Integrating data using Oracle Data Integrator and Oracle Golden Gate
- Building and maintaining client relationships to support seamless integration of business applications
- Providing training and support to clients for optimized use of Oracle data tools
- Collaborating with teams to enhance data quality and security measures
- Applying analytical thinking to derive insights and recommendations from complex data sets
- Navigating complex situations to deliver quality solutions and support client objectives
- Mentoring junior team members to foster growth and development in data analytics skills

What You Must Have

- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 5 years of experience
- Oral and written proficiency in English required

- Proficiency in any Data modeling tool like Erwin Data Modeler, ER/Studio, or IBM Infosphere Data Architect

- Strong knowledge of SQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MS SQL Server, or Oracle for Data analysis

- Familiarity with ETL processes to map data flows

What Sets You Apart

- Proficiency in data modeling tools preferred

- Familiarity with ETL processes for data flows

- Experience in normalization and denormalization techniques
- Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Computer Science, Computer and Information Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering
- At least one of the following: Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) certifications; cloud architecture certifications (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud); cloud data engineering certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP, or Databricks); Snowflake certifications
- Demonstrating proficiency in Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE)
- Utilizing advanced data modeling and data integration techniques
- Excelling in complex data analysis and data-driven consulting
- Developing innovative data quality improvement plans (DQIP)
- Navigating complex client relationships and delivering tailored solutions
