Oracle Database Administrator

ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Oracle Database Administrator to join our team. Position is desired to be within the commuting distance of JBSA San Antonio, remote candidates will be considered.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Defines informational needs and data elements, data relationships and attributes, proposed manipulation, data flow, and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure(OCI) storage requirements, data output and reporting capabilities.

• Designs, develops, provisions, and implements OCI database applications to accommodate a variety of user needs.

• Tests and recommends OCI native services, cloud migration tools, and software products.

• Performs system-level database and software maintenance, including cloud resource scaling and patching via OCI console or APIs.

• Administers, maintains, develops and implements the integrity, cloud security (e.g., OCI IAM, Data Safe), and high availability of multiple OCI database(s).

• May act as a technical lead and cloud SME for lower-level employees.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree, preferably in Engineering, Mathematics, or Business.

• 10+ years of relevant experience working with the Oracle, primarily with Oracle EBS HR Module

• Demonstrated experience in Oracle EBS Applications, focusing on Oracle HR/payroll modules (R12.2.4 and above).

• Expertise in Oracle Critical Upgrades, quarterly patches, operating system upgrades, and application upgrades.

• Hands-on experience working with Oracle Fusion Middleware and Oracle RDBMS architectures.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE)

• Hands on experience operating within Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).

• Knowledge of Linux operating system, shell scripting and Java familiarity

• Knowledge of Oracle Single Sign On (SSO) integration

• Proven expertise in Oracle EBS patching, payroll-specific patching, and system cloning efforts.

• Knowledge of Application performance tuning

• Familiarity with Data pump exports/imports

• Cloud+, GSEC, Security+ or SSCP (Systems Security Certified Practitioner) Certification.
