Oracle DevOps Architect

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Oracle DevOps Architect to lead and deliver cloud engineering and DevOps solutions primarily within Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). This role is ideal for a senior cloud/DevOps professional with strong hands-on OCI implementation experience, automation expertise, and a solid understanding of Oracle PaaS, security, IAM, and integration architecture.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support DevOps and cloud engineering solutions on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
• Architect OCI infrastructure across networking, IAM, databases, storage, security, and integration services
• Develop and implement CI/CD, automation, infrastructure, and configuration management solutions
• Design secure and scalable OCI environments aligned with enterprise architecture standards
• Implement and manage OCI Identity and Access Management (IAM), including policies, user groups, dynamic groups, and application roles
• Integrate OCI environments with Oracle Fusion Cloud
• Work with Oracle PaaS services and understand how individual components contribute to the overall infrastructure and integration architecture
• Collaborate with application, integration, security, and infrastructure teams to deliver end-to-end cloud solutions
• Troubleshoot complex cloud infrastructure, automation, integration, and deployment issues

About you

• 5–7+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or related disciplines
• At least 3 end-to-end OCI implementation projects
• Strong hands-on knowledge of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and its core services, including OCI Networking, IAM, Databases, Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), Cloud Guard, and Storage
• Strong understanding of OCI IAM, including policies, user groups, dynamic groups, and application roles
• Proficiency in at least one automation/programming language: Python, Bash, Java, or Ruby
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes, preferably Oracle Kubernetes Engine (OKE)
• Familiarity with GitHub, VBA, storage technologies, and configuration management
• Experience with federation/integration with Oracle Fusion Cloud
• Strong understanding of Oracle PaaS services and their role within enterprise infrastructure and integration architecture
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and architecture skills
• Willingness to work onsite and on shifting schedules when required
