Oracle DevOps Architect

About the role

We are looking for an experienced OCI DevOps / Cloud Engineer to design, build, and automate Oracle Cloud environments that support enterprise Oracle SaaS and PaaS solutions. You will work across infrastructure, security, and integration layers to deliver secure, scalable, and well-governed cloud platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end implementation of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) solutions, from design through deployment and handover

• Design and configure OCI networking, databases, storage, and compute services

• Set up and manage OCI Identity and Access Management (IAM), including policies, user groups, dynamic groups, and application roles

• Configure identity federation between OCI and Oracle Fusion Cloud

• Implement and monitor security controls using OCI Cloud Guard and related services

• Build and maintain automation scripts for provisioning, deployment, and operational tasks

• Deploy and manage containerized workloads using Docker and Oracle Kubernetes Engine (OKE)

• Support Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and other PaaS services, ensuring each component fits the overall infrastructure and integration architecture

• Manage source control, configuration management, and CI/CD practices using GitHub

• Collaborate with functional, technical, and security teams to align cloud architecture with business requirements

About you

• 5 to 7+ years of hands-on delivery experience in DevOps or Cloud Engineering

• At least 3 end-to-end implementations on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure

• Deep understanding of OCI and its services, including Networking, IAM, Databases, Oracle Integration Cloud, and Cloud Guard

• Deep understanding of OCI IAM (policies, user groups, dynamic groups, application roles)

• Proficiency in at least one scripting or programming language for automation: Python, Bash, Java, or Ruby

• Working knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes (OKE), GitHub, storage, and configuration management

• Strong understanding of PaaS services and how each component contributes to the overall infrastructure and integration architecture

• Knowledge of OCI Architecture and Integration Architecture

• Familiarity with identity federation with Oracle Fusion Cloud (preferred)

• Oracle certifications such as OCI Architect Associate or Professional (preferred)
