Your role, your impact

As an Oracle Fusion Payroll Functional Consultant, you’ll play a critical role in delivering end-to-end Oracle Fusion Payroll solutions, with a focus on North America (US) payroll. You’ll leverage your deep functional expertise in Oracle Fusion Payroll to configure, implement, and support payroll processes while ensuring compliance, accuracy, efficiency, and alignment with business requirements. Your ability to translate complex payroll requirements into scalable system configurations, troubleshoot functional issues, and collaborate with business and technical stakeholders will directly contribute to successful project delivery, operational stability, payroll accuracy, and client satisfaction.

Your day-to-day

  • Lead and support end-to-end Oracle Fusion Payroll implementations and functional delivery activities;

  • Gather, analyze, and translate business and payroll requirements into Oracle Fusion Payroll configurations;

  • Configure and support North America (US) payroll processes in accordance with business requirements and regulatory considerations;

  • Analyze and troubleshoot complex payroll issues and provide effective functional solutions;

  • Support payroll configuration, testing, validation, and deployment activities throughout the project lifecycle;

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, functional teams, technical teams, and other project resources to ensure successful solution delivery;

  • Support payroll integrations, data validation, and data conversion activities;

  • Develop and maintain functional documentation, configuration workbooks, process documentation, and supporting deliverables;

  • Participate in unit testing, SIT, UAT, regression testing, post-go-live stabilization activities, and ongoing payroll issue resolution;

  • Ensure Oracle Fusion Payroll solutions align with business processes, compliance requirements, Oracle best practices, and operational objectives;

  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on payroll accuracy, efficiency, user experience, and operational excellence.

Keys to your success

  • Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion Payroll;

  • Demonstrated experience delivering end-to-end Oracle Fusion Payroll implementations;

  • Strong functional knowledge of North America (US) payroll processes and experience translating complex payroll requirements into Oracle Fusion Payroll configurations;

  • Experience with payroll configuration, testing, troubleshooting, and production support;

  • Strong understanding of payroll business processes, compliance requirements, and payroll controls;

  • Experience working with business stakeholders to gather requirements and provide functional recommendations;

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, collaborate effectively across teams, and translate business needs into scalable Oracle Fusion Payroll solutions.

Extra edge

  • Oracle Fusion Payroll certification or progress toward Oracle certification;

  • Experience with additional Oracle Fusion HCM modules, Oracle Fusion HCM integrations and technical interfaces, and Oracle quarterly updates and impact assessments;

  • Experience with payroll data conversion, validation, reconciliation, reporting, and payroll compliance, audit, and data governance activities;

  • Experience working within an Oracle Center of Excellence (CoE) or enterprise application support environment, supporting global or multi-country payroll environments, and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
