Job Summary for Oracle Tester (List Format):
- Conduct functional, system integration, regression, and user acceptance testing for Oracle-based applications.
- Create, execute, and maintain comprehensive test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts.
- Validate Oracle databases, including PL/SQL packages, stored procedures, triggers, and data migrations.
- Test Oracle APEX applications to ensure they meet functionality, usability, and performance requirements.
- Analyze business and technical requirements to determine test conditions and ensure adequate coverage.
- Execute SQL queries to validate data integrity, transformation, and database updates.
- Log, track, and manage defects through to resolution in collaboration with developers and stakeholders.
- Support release testing and deployment validation activities.
- Prepare and communicate test progress, status reports, and quality metrics to project stakeholders.
- Work within Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies.
- Utilize strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Employ excellent communication skills to bridge technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- (Desirable) Experience with test automation tools, API testing, performance/database testing, and domain knowledge in Financial Services, especially in Mortgage and Savings.
