Domain: Financial Services – Banking (Corporate Banking, Cash Management & Payments preferred). Any domain experience is acceptable, banking / insurance / healthcare insurance preferred

Role:

• We are looking for experienced ORMB Technical Consultants to design, develop and support Oracle Revenue Management and Billing (ORMB) solutions for banking and financial services clients.
• The role involves leading custom development and enhancements across Customer Management, Pricing, Billing, Payments and Delinquency, building batch interfaces and APIs, and supporting environments through CI/CD practices in an Agile delivery model.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead development and enhancement of custom solutions across ORMB modules – Algorithms, Batch Jobs, Business Components, BPA Scripts, UI Maps, Zones, Business Services, etc.
• Ensure development and testing of components across process areas – Customer Management, Billing, Payments, Pricing, Delinquency, Interfaces and APIs.
• Develop inbound and outbound batch interfaces to ORMB using the OUAF batch framework, including multithreaded batch processing.
• Develop APIs integrating ORMB with external applications and online customer portals.
• Configure pricing and rate structures, and support Transaction Feed Management, Rules Engine, Rating, Invoice and Settlement constructs, GL, Payments, Credit/Collections, Accounts Payable and Receivable.
• Manage system and application environments – installs, configurations, deployments and upgrades to new ORMB versions – using standard CI/CD tools and practices.
• Work closely with functional teams, architects and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical designs.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies – Scrum, sprint planning, backlog grooming and retrospectives.
• Provide technical guidance to junior developers and perform code reviews.

Mandatory Skills:

• 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in ORMB, OUAF, CC&B or C2M; expertise in building and implementing ORMB or other OUAF-based products.
• At least 5 years in financial services / banking, preferably Corporate Banking, specifically Cash Management and Payments or any domain experience will consider.
• Prior experience in Pricing and Billing solution sales and/or in a lead solution architect role in the Finance / Banking domain.
• Strong knowledge of Core Java / J2EE, Oracle Database and Hibernate.
• Strong experience in the OUAF batch framework, including multithreading concepts.
• Good knowledge of pricing and rate configuration.
• Very good understanding of the OUAF data model.
• Working knowledge of OUAF configuration and development objects: Algorithm, Service Program, Lookups, Extendable Lookup, Tables, Maintenance Extension, Maintenance Object, Business Component, Business Object, Business Service, UI Map, Data Areas, Batch, Page Service, Change Handler, Service Script, Plug-in Script, BPA Script, Zones, Application Services and User Access configuration.
• Very good understanding of ORMB functionality: Transaction Feed Management, Rules Engine, Billing, Rating, Pricing, Invoice and Settlement Constructs, GL, Payments, Credit/Collections, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
• Functional and technical understanding across Policy / Plan / Membership, Customer Management, Pricing, Billing, Payments and Delinquency modules.
  

Good to have:

• Experience in healthcare insurance implementation projects or any banking / insurance domain.
• Good knowledge of Agile methodologies and ceremonies (Scrum, sprint planning, backlog grooming, retrospectives).
• Experience with Hibernate, MVC architecture and multithreading.
• Experience developing inbound and outbound batch interfaces and APIs for ORMB integration.
• Exposure to CI/CD tooling and release management.
