OT/IT Infrastructure Architect

On behalf of a client in the energy industry, we are looking for an OT/IT Infrastructure Architect to support the design and delivery of secure and resilient infrastructure across segregated IT/OT environments.

Main Responsibilities

• Own the architecture for compute, virtualisation, server infrastructure, storage, backup and recovery, and core infrastructure services

• Define secure and maintainable infrastructure designs supporting IT/OT segregation, resilience and operational requirements

• Translate security, architecture, compliance and operational requirements into implementable infrastructure solutions

• Produce and review HLDs, LLDs, design decisions, standards and implementation documentation

• Guide implementation teams and ensure architectural alignment through delivery and handover into operations

Key Requirements

• Strong experience as an Infrastructure Architect, Solution Architect or Lead Infrastructure Engineer in large enterprise environments

• Deep understanding of compute platforms, virtualisation, server infrastructure, storage, backup and disaster recovery

• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, including privileged access, infrastructure hardening, resilience and controlled connectivity

• Experience delivering infrastructure solutions from architecture and design through implementation and operational handover

• Experience producing architecture documentation, design standards and governance artefacts

Beneficial

• Experience with core infrastructure services such as Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, PKI/Certificate Services and NTP

• Experience within IT/OT environments, critical infrastructure, utilities, manufacturing or energy
