OTC Trader
You will facilitate the hedging needs of client flows while ensuring clients receive best in class service. You'll manage risk exposures within the company's risk appetite and contribute to building and optimizing the trading desk's pricing and risk models. You'll use both electronic and voice trading channels, influencing technology improvements inspired by more mature Traditional Finance market structures. You will use Python to automate manual tasks and collaborate with Engineering and Data Science teams on more robust solutions. You'll stay closely attuned to market narratives, contribute to internal research, and help inform new trading products and capabilities. While on coverage, you'll be available to respond immediately to changing exposures and client requests, including rotations on weekends and off-hours. You will also mentor more junior team members and champion the Trading Solutions perspective across the organization.

- Increase automation so traders can focus on complex trades and client engagement
- Follow market narratives and contribute to internal research efforts
- Help inform new products and capabilities within the trading business
- Respond immediately to changing exposures, client questions and requests while on coverage, including weekend and off-hours rotations
- Provide input to the technology roadmap based on understanding of Trading's role in the firm's strategy
- Share knowledge among stakeholder teams to avoid being a single point of failure
- Deepen client interactions and execution strategies by staying current on market themes and liquidity
- Champion the Trading Solutions team perspective in cross-department conversations and with clients
- Mentor junior team members and collaborate on trading desk process enhancements
Requirements
- 3+ years experience as an OTC trader in the cryptocurrency space
- Demonstrated ability to convert institutional prospects into trading clients
