Outlet Manager. Gingerlily (Hilton Singapore Orchard)
The Outlet Manager, Ginger Lily, is concerned with the strategic management of the lobby lounge and bar, in line with prescribed Hilton policies and procedures.
What will I be doing?
As Outlet Manager, you will lead daily floor operations, elevate service standards, and empower your team to deliver exceptional dining experiences. Your role focuses on three key areas:
Guest Experience
- Drive Service Excellence: Be a hands-on presence on the restaurant floor during peak hours, ensuring all brand standards and SOPs are consistently delivered.
- Proactive Guest Engagement: Resolve guest feedback promptly, anticipate needs before they are voiced and implement continuous improvements based on guest feedback.
- Maintain Safety & Compliance: Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment by enforcing strict Health, Safety and Hygiene standards.
Daily Operations
- Smooth Shift Management: Lead shift briefings, handovers, and floor coordination with Kitchen, Housekeeping, Front Office and Engineering teams to maintain seamless service flow.
- Resource & Roster Planning: Prepare efficient shift rosters and manage operational resources according to business volume, hotel occupancy and special events.
- Revenue & Cost Control: Foster a proactive sales culture, capitalize on group business leads and assist with managing departmental costs without compromising quality.
Leadership & Talent Development
- Coach & Onboard: Assist with interviewing, hiring, and conducting structured orientation and ongoing SOP training for new team members.
- Develop Talent: Actively mentor and assess team performance, building a motivated, high-performing team prepared for future career growth.
- Transparent Communication: Keep the team aligned on departmental goals, promotions, and hotel news through regular briefings and open dialogue.
What are we looking for?
An Outlet Manager serving Hilton Brands is always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviours, skills, and values that follow:
• 2-4 years in a managerial position in a 4 / 5-star category hotel.
• Good English skills, both written and verbal to meet business needs.
• Motivated and committed, approaching all tasks with enthusiasm and seize opportunities to learn new skills or knowledge in order to improve personal performance.
• Flexible and responds quickly and positively to changing requirements including the performance of any tasks requested of you.
• Maintain high team focus by showing cooperation and support to colleagues in the pursuit of team goals.
• Strong leadership, people management and training skills.
• Guest oriented and able to confidently build and exceed service standards.
• Thorough knowledge of service, cost control in F&B, labour controls, beverage menu writing, maintenance, merchandising, computer and accountings.
• Strong interpersonal skills and attention to details.
• Key strengths in people management communication and planning.
