Overseas Operations Manager P2P
You will develop and execute regional P2P expansion strategies across overseas markets. You will manage merchant onboarding, segmentation, incentives, liquidity, spreads, completion rates, and dispute performance. You will work with Product and Engineering to improve transaction workflows, payment processing, and dispute handling. You will monitor P2P metrics, analyze risks and growth bottlenecks, track competitors, and recommend strategic responses.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement regional P2P expansion strategies
- Monitor regional regulatory developments and assess their impact on P2P business models
- Adjust market strategy based on competitive and market changes
- Design and optimize merchant onboarding, segmentation, and incentive structures
- Engage key merchants to maintain liquidity depth and competitive spreads
- Improve completion rates, trading efficiency, and dispute resolution performance
- Develop management frameworks for regional merchant operations
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering to improve P2P workflows and features
- Provide feedback on product gaps, user pain points, and regional behavioral differences
- Improve order flow, payment processing, and dispute handling
- Monitor core P2P KPIs
- Analyze data and detect anomalies, growth bottlenecks, and risk patterns
- Track competitor strategies and propose strategic responses
Requirements
- 5+ years of platform operations experience
- 2–3 years of hands-on P2P operations experience in overseas markets outside Mainland China
- Experience at major exchanges
- Understanding of P2P liquidity dynamics and spread formation
- Understanding of regional payment systems, including bank transfers, local e-wallets, and alternative rails
- Ability to adapt operational strategy to market and competitive changes
- Analytical and data-driven decision-making skills
- Cross-functional collaboration skills
- Fluency in English
