Part-time Beautique Clerk
Summary
Part-time retail role at a campus store serving Starbucks drinks, assisting customers, and managing inventory in a busy environment.
POSITION PURPOSE: The part-time Barista/Sales Associate reports directly to the Beautique & Books Manager at the Corsicana location. This position will be responsible for the “Proudly Serves Starbucks” counter and will also help oversee the Beautique.
GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for opening and closing the store.
- Responsible for making quality Starbucks drinks.
- Greet and check out customers.
- Answer phones and assist with curbside service.
- Assist customers in finding items in the store.
- Assist with deliveries.
- Tag merchandise.
- Clean, organize and size clothes racks and stock shelves.
- Change out displays.
- Mop sales floor.
- Restock and keep the restrooms clean.
- Take out trash.
- Work special events like graduation, football games, community and other outside events.
- Prepare and work inventories.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Must be customer service oriented.
- Must be friendly and have good people skills.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Basic math skills.
- Ability to lift 40-50 lbs.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred:
- Previous retail experience.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Variances from regular working hours may be necessary to fulfill the responsibilities of the position.
- Busy working environment with numerous interruptions.
- Standing for extended periods of time.
SALARY: $12. per hour / up to 19 hours per week.
