Part-time OTA Clinic Coordinator
POSITION PURPOSE:
The OTA Clinic Coordinator shall be responsible for the maintenance of the department’s campus clinics and will act in a supervisory role for students during Level I fieldwork (clinic). The Clinic Coordinator will take direction from the Program Director and/or the OTA faculty.
GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Create and maintain clinic schedule, including room utilization, staff/volunteer utilization, and student scheduling.
- Set up and maintain treatment areas.
- Conduct clinics on scheduled days and times. Clinic formats will vary depending on the population.
- Ensure supplies and equipment are available for clinics.
- Maintain cleanliness and order within the clinic environment.
- Conduct evaluation of students and/or remediation in meeting specific criteria.
- Perform other duties as requested by the OTA Program Director and/or faculty.

- Knowledgeable about occupational therapy interventions across various populations.

- Understands the accreditation standards for ACOTE and SACSCOC.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
Required:
- Initial certification as a COTA or OTR.
- Current licensure as an OTA or OT in the State of Texas.
- Associate’s degree.
- Two (2) years of clinical experience in the occupational therapy field.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Variances from regular working hours may be necessary to fulfill the responsibilities of the position.
- Busy working environment with numerous interruptions.
SALARY: $25-$35. per hour - commensurate with education and experience / up to 19 hrs per week
