The Partner Success Manager III is responsible for leading senior-level business development and strategic account growth activities focused on the U.S. Federal Government market. This role drives new federal client acquisition, expands adoption and consumption of PMI products and services across civilian, defense, and intelligence agencies, and manages existing federal customer relationships through strategic account planning, capture activities, stakeholder engagement, and targeted growth initiatives.

The role leads market development aligned with U.S. Federal Government priorities, agency mission outcomes, and PMI business objectives while partnering across the organization to support federal business planning, opportunity development, proposal support, partner engagement, and cross-functional execution. As a senior individual contributor, the Partner Success Manager III plays a critical role in expanding PMI’s presence within the U.S. Federal Government, strengthening executive-level relationships, and achieving revenue and growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Work with regional and organizational leadership to identify and prioritize U.S. Federal Government agencies, departments, and strategic accounts.
Develop and execute comprehensive federal account and growth plans, including engagement with senior executives, acquisition officials, program managers, and project delivery organizations.
Identify, qualify, pursue, and close new business opportunities within U.S. Federal Government organizations.
Drive revenue growth through PMI products, services, training, certifications, and enterprise solutions within federal agencies and related partner ecosystems.
Develop relationships with federal decision-makers, contracting officials, systems integrators, and strategic partners.
Support capture planning, opportunity qualification, proposal activities, and contract growth strategies.
Maintain compliance with company standards around CRM usage and pipeline management.
Build and maintain a strong federal market network and represent PMI at government-focused conferences, industry days, and professional events.
Provide market intelligence and customer insights to inform PMI strategy and solution development.
Collaborate with marketing, client engagement, and sales teams to develop targeted federal growth initiatives.
Maintain accurate forecasts, pipeline data, account information, and business development reporting.
Prioritize high-value opportunities and ensure focus on investments with the greatest strategic and financial return.

Role Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Government, Public Policy, Project Management, or a related field required. Master’s degree preferred.
Minimum of 10 years of senior-level business development and sales experience supporting the U.S. Federal Government market.
Demonstrated success developing and executing business development strategies that result in new revenue growth within U.S. Federal Government agencies.
Experience managing complex federal sales cycles, account planning, capture activities, and stakeholder engagement.
Strong knowledge of U.S. Federal procurement processes, contracting vehicles, acquisition practices, and government buying environments.
Experience engaging with executive-level federal stakeholders, program offices, contracting organizations, and systems integrators.
Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales quotas and annual revenue targets.
7+ years of experience in strategic account planning, forecasting, budgeting, business analysis, process improvement, and change leadership.
Experience working in a sales environment within a growing global organization or comparable professional services, training, certification, or technology environment.
Highly proficient in CRM systems, with Microsoft Dynamics experience preferred.
Successful advocacy with government organizations and senior executive audiences.
PMI certifications are a plus.
Accomplished presenter capable of engaging senior federal executives, acquisition organizations, and large conference audiences.
Technologically savvy and knowledgeable regarding modern digital technologies, analytics, cloud solutions, and enterprise transformation.
Ability and willingness to become thoroughly familiar with project management, the profession, and PMI to build credibility and trust with federal customers.
Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Travel up to 25% may be required.
