Parts Assembler

POSITION SUMMARY:

Primarily responsible for performing bench or line assembly/sub-assembly operations on a variety of product. Responsible for compliance to Quality Systems Regulations (QSR).

PRINCIPAL JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for assembly of product using hand tools in accordance with specification and work instructions.
• Responsible for learning a variety of workstations and compliance with policies/procedures applicable to the position.
• Responsible for the customer’s request and to make sure the items are sent out on time.
• Participate in a self-managed team. Assumes specific responsibilities on a rotating basis for activities/items including but not limited to E-Mobility, Leckey, Firefly, Service Parts, etc..

• May assist Customer Service regarding orders and questions regarding parts.

• Performs necessary TQC and documentation signoffs.

• Responsible for entering data into JD Edwards – Scanning travelers/back flushing orders.
• Responsible for following all applicable safety/housekeeping guidelines. Performs necessary preventative maintenance as required.
• Responsible for following department area procedures (D.A.P.) on matters such as work instructions, documentation, and shipment.

• Responsible for working closely with department scheduler to ensure proper work order scan tracking and required work order notes for JD Edwards.
• May work on special projects/assignments upon request.
