Parts Counter Sales

M&K Truck Centers is seeking a Parts Counter Salesperson / Parts Advisor to join our team. In this role, you will provide exceptional customer service while helping customers identify and purchase heavy-duty truck, diesel engine, and commercial vehicle parts. This position works closely with technicians, drivers, fleet customers, and repair facilities to ensure timely parts support and inventory accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist customers, technicians, and fleet accounts with identifying and purchasing heavy-duty truck parts.

• Research parts using electronic catalogs, manufacturer resources, and dealership systems.

• Process walk-in, phone, and email parts orders accurately and efficiently.

• Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts and stock replenishment activities.

• Receive, stock, organize, and label incoming parts inventory.

• Recommend alternative or superseded parts when original parts are unavailable.

• Support warehouse and parts department operations to ensure customer satisfaction.

• Process returns, warranty claims, exchanges, and credits according to dealership procedures.

Qualifications:

• 1+ year of experience in parts sales, parts counter operations, automotive parts, diesel parts, or heavy-duty truck parts.

• Knowledge of Mack, Volvo, Isuzu, Hino, Cummins, or other commercial truck parts preferred.

• Experience using CDK, Procede, or other dealership management systems preferred.

• Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to research parts through electronic catalogs and manufacturer systems.

• Basic inventory management and warehouse experience preferred.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
