At Stone Oak Children’s Dentistry & Orthodontics, we believe every great patient experience starts at the front desk. We're looking for a compassionate, dependable Patient Coordinator who enjoys working with children and families and is excited to grow with our practice.

What You'll Do:

As one of the first people our patients and families interact with, you'll play an important role in creating a welcoming, organized, and positive experience from check-in to check-out. Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Greeting patients and families with a warm, friendly, and professional attitude
  • Scheduling appointments and helping keep the daily schedule running smoothly
  • Answering incoming calls and providing exceptional customer service
  • Explaining treatment plans and discussing financial options with confidence and compassion
  • Verifying insurance benefits and preparing insurance claims
  • Assisting patients with payment arrangements and account questions
  • Supporting communication between patients, doctors, and team members
  • Helping achieve daily office goals while contributing to a positive team environment
  • Assisting with community outreach and marketing initiatives as needed

Required:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 1 year of dental front office experience
  • Knowledge of dental terminology
  • Basic computer skills, including dental software, Microsoft Word, and Excel
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Dependable, self-motivated, and a team-first mindset

Bonus Skills (Not Required):

  • Experience with dental insurance verification and claims
  • Texas Medicaid experience
  • Open Dental experience
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)
