Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Consultant

We are seeking an experienced Consultant in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) to join our leading healthcare facility in the UAE. The ideal candidate will specialize in restoring functional abilities, managing musculoskeletal and neurological conditions, and improving patients’ mobility, independence, and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and manage patients with musculoskeletal, neurological, and physical disabilities.
• Develop individualized rehabilitation plans to improve mobility, function, and independence.
• Manage conditions such as stroke-related disability, spinal cord injuries, chronic pain, and sports-related injuries.
• Evaluate patients with back pain, joint disorders, and other functional limitations.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary rehabilitation programs with physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and other specialists.
• Perform appropriate musculoskeletal assessments and rehabilitation-related procedures.
• Monitor treatment outcomes and modify rehabilitation plans based on patient progress.
• Counsel patients and families on recovery goals, functional improvement, and long-term care.
• Supervise clinical teams and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements

Qualifications & Requirements

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree.
• MD/DNB or equivalent postgraduate qualification in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation.
• Significant post-specialization experience at Consultant level.
• Experience in managing complex rehabilitation cases and multidisciplinary treatment programs.
• Strong clinical leadership, diagnostic, and communication skills.
