About the Position: This position is a Physical Security Specialist for the Fort Bliss Directorate of Emergency Services. Fort Bliss is the home of the 1st Armored Division, FORSCOM deployable units, and has a full scope of base support elements. It is home to the U.S. Army Sergeant's Major Academy, William Beaumont Army Hospital, 32nd Army Air and Missile Defense Command, Brigade Modernization Command, and Joint Task Force North. Conducts acceptance tests for systems installed under contract.
Incumbent will serve as the Fort Bliss subject matter expert (SME) for this system.
Monitors daily operation of system to evaluate effectiveness, procedures followed and overall operation.
Prepares operation instructions relative to the operation of the system.
Provides technical advice to staff to ensure timely implementation of new systems and/or enhancements of existing system and conducts inspections and surveys of Army property and resources
