Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding a Physician Assistant - Catheterization Lab to the group at NYC Health + Hospitals/Kings County. Opportunity Details:
- Perform physical examination and obtain medical history, order labs, ECGs, chest X-rays, etc., on consult service and pre-procedure under Attending supervision.
- Evaluate and interpret patient medications, laboratory, and test results.
- Coordinate and facilitate referrals and follow-up for cardiac procedures (Cardiac Cath, EP Studies, Device procedures, Cardiothoracic Surgery).
- Perform cardiac procedures including Stress Tests, Stress Echocardiography, Tilt Table Testing, and Nuclear Stress Testing under Attending supervision.
- Assist in Cardiac Catheterization Lab procedures.
- Perform inpatient cardiovascular consults and monitor and follow-up patients in the CCU.
- Perform non-invasive cardiac stress testing under Attending supervision.
- Schedule: Daytime, with flexibility.
