PIPING ENGINEER

Job Responsibilities

• Oversee the construction of pipelines and ensure they are built to specifications.
• Monitor pipeline projects from start to finish, including preplanning, design, construction, testing and commissioning.
• liaise with clients, contractors and other stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of pipeline projects.
• Manage a team of pipeline engineers and technicians, ensuring that work is carried out safely and to schedule.
• Prepare reports and documentation relating to pipeline projects

Objectives

• Design and oversee the construction of pipelines for the transport of gas, oil, water, and other fluids
• Ensure that pipelines are constructed according to safety standards and regulations
• Develop plans and layouts for pipeline systems
• Calculate the costs associated with pipeline projects
• Supervise the installation of pipelines
• Inspect completed pipelines to ensure they meet specifications
