Planner Buyer (Comprador)

Functions:

• Conduct research using primary data sources and select information needed for the analysis of key themes and trends and provide market and Customer intelligence.
• Engage with sales management to drive alignment between local objectives and inventory strategy.
• Actively participate in strategy sessions.
• Investigate questions relating to existing programs, processes and procedures.
• Interpret data and identify possible answers.
• Involves navigating a wide variety of processes, procedures and precedents.
• Provide reporting against objectives and related metrics.
• Track budgets and report variances to more senior colleagues.
• Roles at this level are typically supervisors or junior professionals who are concerned with delivering results within established systems and with readily available support.
• Process efficiency; apply
• Work with Buyers and Inventory coordinators to adjust inventory to achieve objectives (fill rate, DIOH, DnE, etc.). Coordinate rollout and inventory placement on marketing initiatives in collaboration with RSL, IM team, and Category Management.
• Collaborate with Sales Managers and Reps on selected Customer accounts to establish basic S&OP (sales and operations planning) activities.
