Planner - Tubular Running Services (TRS)

Job Overview

The Planner is responsible for prepareing production schedules and establishing sequence and lead time of each operation to meet completion dates.

Responsibilities

Plan and order all related tools and materials from local vendors for the production line
Manage new orders as per procedure
Revise pick date, ship date and ship date as per production meetings
Raise work order, communicate with production/workshop/buyers/machine shop to ensure all necessary work is completed
Identify key list of orders and chase up with buyers and planners on these daily
Communicate with vendors for key purchase order items as well
Any other tasks requested by the planning supervisor/manager or the manufacturing manager

Skills

Strong organization and time-management skills
Ability to work as part of cross-functional teams
Good understanding of Materials Requirement Planning (MRP)
Good communication skills (oral and written). Ability to effectively interface and collaborate with all departments to ensure positive results
Good knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel

Qualifications

1-3 years planning and ordering tools and materials in workshop/manufacturing environment (in Oil & Gas industry is a plus)
Bachelor’s degree in business or technical discipline
