Plant Facilities Engineer
Our client is seeking an FM Engineer to oversee building facilities maintenance and management, ensuring operational reliability, energy efficiency, and effective project delivery.
Responsibilities
- Plan, execute, and oversee preventive maintenance for building facilities systems, including electrical, HVAC, MV, compressed air, and P&S systems.
- Ensure facilities systems comply with safety standards and maintain operational reliability.
- Implement predictive maintenance strategies using IoT sensor solutions and AI-driven applications.
- Drive KPIs related to energy savings, power interruptions, and breakdown recovery.
- Improve maintenance efficiency through data-driven insights.
- Support and develop AI-driven Maintenance Work Processes (MWP).
- Manage utilities supply systems, including HT/LT, digital metering, energy monitoring systems, water supply, and gas supply.
- Monitor utilities performance and ensure the uninterrupted supply of critical utilities.
- Lead plant facilities repair and improvement projects.
- Review vendor design submissions with cross-functional teams and facilitate timely approvals.
- Conduct mandatory checks and manage the approval process for external vendors’ electrical design submissions.
- Manage vendors’ work quality and safety compliance.
- Deliver projects within the required scope, budget, and timeline.
- Develop and implement an Integrated Facility Management model to coordinate M&E maintenance and engineering works.
- Achieve cost savings and streamline repair work through IFM management.
- Enhance cross-functional collaboration for seamless facilities maintenance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or a relevant discipline.
- 5–8 years of relevant experience in facilities maintenance and management.
- Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems maintenance.
- High level of computer proficiency, with a technology-focused and AI-driven mindset.
- Strong problem-solving, project management, and vendor coordination skills.
- Strong communication and leadership abilities.
- Ability to apply technology and innovative solutions in facilities management.
- Results-oriented, with a focus on energy efficiency and sustainability.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience working in a manufacturing industry environment is preferred.
Work Day/Hour: Monday to Friday 7.42am to 5pm
Work Location: West (Company transport provided)
