Plant Manager - Ardmore

Atlas Roof Shingles & Underlayments is seeking a Plant Manager for the Ardmore, OK facility.

Plant Manager Primary Responsibilities

• Coordinate the execution of manufacturing schedules based on sales requirements and plant capacity.
• Review and approve recommendations of subordinates in matters of personnel or rate changes.
• Responsible for selection, development, and motivation of salaried employees. Administers performance appraisals for salaried employees.
• Participate in and plans long-range plant expansion, conversion, and equipment planning.
• Must achieve manufacturing profit objectives to meet quality and delivery requirements (Customer Service) at the lowest overall cost.
• Responsible for meeting the environmental codes as established by Atlas Roofing Corporation, state and/or federal requirements.
• Responsible for plant industrial personnel relations regarding the hourly workforce in meeting the policies and goals of the Division. Participates in Union negotiations.
• Responsible for meeting established requirements of governmental agencies regarding current laws and regulations (EEO, OSHA, EPA, NLRB, etc.)
• Determines the capital expenditures required in terms of plant operation, environment and growth for current year and long-term planning.

Plant Manager Experience

• 10+ years’ experience in manufacturing, technical, personnel, financial and general management.

Plant Manager Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Significant decision-making requirements affecting plant personnel and economics.
• Short and long-term complex decision making under general guidance.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel spreadsheets, etc.

Plant Manager Education, Licenses & Certifications

• College graduate in Technical or Business area.

Plant Manager Additional Information

• Directly manages Managers
• Indirect management of all salaried and hourly employees working at plant level
