Plater Fabricator Nights in Sheffield, South Yorkshire

PLATER / FABRICATOR NIGHTS

We are recruiting for an experienced Plater / Fabricator to work for our client who are located in Sheffield, South Yorkshire.

THE DUTIES OF A PLATER / FABRICATOR:

* Reading engineering drawings for parts to be fabricated/welded.

* Preparing and fabrication of various sizes of projects.

* Achieve production timings in a timely manner.

* Communicating with Project Managers during production.

* Following all Quality, Health & Safety and Environmental procedures

* Completing fabrication as required and recording critical dimensions on inspection reports and performing safety checks.

* Varied and interesting work, requiring attention to accuracy and detail to ensure tight tolerances are met.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCES & SKILLS:

* Minimum 2 years' experience working within a high precision manufacturing background

* Excellent communication skills

THE HOURS:

Monday – Thursday 4.45pm – 2.45am (overtime available)

THE PAY:

You will earn an hourly rate of £21.50 per hour depending on experience. After 3 months’ probation this will increase to £24 per hour
