Platform Engineer
Summary
Build and operate the foundational systems for engineering teams, including Kubernetes infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, observability, data systems, and customer integrations.
You will build and operate the foundational systems behind product engineering, including internal tooling, CI/CD, deployment and observability pipelines, Kubernetes services, data infrastructure, MCP connectivity, OAuth, credential management, and customer integrations.
Responsibilities
- Architect and optimize development infrastructure
- Build and maintain Kubernetes service infrastructure
- Operate CI/CD, deployment, and observability pipelines
- Manage shared libraries, secrets, and platform abstractions
- Own schemas, storage, and access patterns for data systems
- Own the MCP gateway and customer connectivity layer
- Manage OAuth, credentials, self-hosted MCP servers, and integrations
- Set production readiness standards
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in platform, infrastructure, or backend engineering
- Strong fundamentals in service-oriented architectures, networking, and systems design
- Proficiency in TypeScript
- Hands-on experience operating production services on Kubernetes
- Ability to take ambiguous goals from prototype to production
- Strong code and data modeling skills
- Experience with MCP, OAuth, API gateways, or multi-tenant integration platforms is a bonus
- Experience with OTEL, distributed tracing, and SRE practices is a bonus
- Experience with agent or LLM systems is a bonus
