Platform Engineer

Summary

Build and operate the foundational systems for engineering teams, including Kubernetes infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, observability, data systems, and customer integrations.

You will build and operate the foundational systems behind product engineering, including internal tooling, CI/CD, deployment and observability pipelines, Kubernetes services, data infrastructure, MCP connectivity, OAuth, credential management, and customer integrations.

Responsibilities

  • Architect and optimize development infrastructure
  • Build and maintain Kubernetes service infrastructure
  • Operate CI/CD, deployment, and observability pipelines
  • Manage shared libraries, secrets, and platform abstractions
  • Own schemas, storage, and access patterns for data systems
  • Own the MCP gateway and customer connectivity layer
  • Manage OAuth, credentials, self-hosted MCP servers, and integrations
  • Set production readiness standards

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience in platform, infrastructure, or backend engineering
  • Strong fundamentals in service-oriented architectures, networking, and systems design
  • Proficiency in TypeScript
  • Hands-on experience operating production services on Kubernetes
  • Ability to take ambiguous goals from prototype to production
  • Strong code and data modeling skills
  • Experience with MCP, OAuth, API gateways, or multi-tenant integration platforms is a bonus
  • Experience with OTEL, distributed tracing, and SRE practices is a bonus
  • Experience with agent or LLM systems is a bonus
