Platform Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Kubernetes Platform Engineer to design, build and manage scalable, secure, multi-cluster Kubernetes platforms with self-service automation, GitOps and policy-driven governance.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and manage Kubernetes multi-cluster and multi-tenant platforms across cloud and hybrid environments.
• Implement virtual Kubernetes clusters using vCluster and automate tenant onboarding, provisioning, lifecycle management and decommissioning.
• Build GitOps-based deployment workflows using Argo CD / FluxCD.
• Implement policy-as-code and governance using OPA / Gatekeeper / Kyverno.
• Develop self-service platform capabilities, APIs and infrastructure automation workflows.
• Provision and manage cloud infrastructure using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Work with AWS EKS, IAM, KMS and Kubernetes security controls.
• Improve platform scalability, reliability, security, observability and developer experience.
• Collaborate with application, DevOps, infrastructure and security teams to deliver enterprise-grade platform solutions.

Preferred candidate profile

• Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes platform engineering and multi-cluster management.
• Experience with multi-tenancy, tenant isolation and self-service platform automation.
• Hands-on knowledge of GitOps Argo CD or FluxCD.
• Strong Terraform / IaC experience.
• Experience with policy-as-code using OPA, Gatekeeper or Kyverno.
• Knowledge of AWS EKS, IAM, KMS and Kubernetes security.
• API development, scripting or automation workflow experience.
