Responsibilities
- Process Optimization: Adjust bath formulas, voltage, and cycle times to achieve uniform metal thickness and prevent defects.
- Troubleshooting: Lead root cause analysis for yield losses, surface defects, or equipment failures using tools like SPC and FMEA.
- Quality & Compliance: Maintain chemical safety standards, monitor wastewater treatment, and adhere to environmental regulations (such as RoHS and REACH).
- New Product Introduction (NPI): Qualify new plating lines, materials, or equipment setups.
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, or a related field.
- Technical Knowledge: Understanding of electroplating, electroless plating, etching, and wet chemistry.
- Analytical Tools: Proficiency in Statistical Process Control (SPC), Design of Experiments (DOE), and Six Sigma methodologies.
