# PLC Programmer ## Job Summary We are looking for an experienced **PLC Programmer** responsible for developing, programming, testing, and commissioning PLC-based automation systems. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with **IEC 61131-3** programming standards and industrial automation systems. ## Responsibilities - Develop and implement PLC programs for industrial automation systems. - Work with PLC programming languages and standards defined under IEC 61131-3. - Design, test, debug, and troubleshoot PLC control logic. - Integrate PLCs with sensors, actuators, HMIs (Human-Machine Interfaces), drives, and other industrial control systems. - Perform system commissioning and support troubleshooting at customer or plant sites. - Collaborate with electrical, controls, mechanical, and engineering teams. - Prepare technical documentation related to PLC programs and control systems. - Optimize existing PLC programs to improve system performance and reliability. ## Qualifications - 3–5+ years of experience in PLC programming and industrial automation. - Strong understanding of IEC 61131-3 standards. - Hands-on experience with PLC programming, debugging, and troubleshooting. - Good understanding of industrial control systems and automation concepts. - Ability to read and understand electrical/control schematics. - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. - Good communication and coordination skills. - Education: Bachelor’s/Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Automation, or a related engineering discipline. ## Preferred Skills - A hands-on automation professional who can independently develop, troubleshoot, and commission PLC-based control systems. - Ability to work effectively with cross-functional engineering teams. ## Experience - Minimum of 3–5 years in PLC programming and industrial automation.
